From the beautiful surroundings of the theatre to the talented performance team, all in the audience had a fantastic time watching and listening to Dream Girls at the Savoy on 22nd March 2018! A full standing ovation couldn’t even show the high level of appreciation of talent from all who performed!

We enjoyed the show, it was professional, energetic and fun, however, the volume was very loud and lacked a little subtlety. The story line was okay but not very deep. Overall, we enjoyed a wet, winter afternoon with good entertainment

Had high expectations for this show but felt disappointed as for me it never really got going. The story was sung & hard to understand so I have no idea what it was about! Also thought there would be more uplifting music, especially in second half, but that never happened, hardly recognised the songs apart from one or two. Scenery very poor & uninteresting & not enough in the way of costume changes. Considering the cost of tickets I was expecting so much more from this show & feel let down as quite a bit of effort & expense required to get into London & back!

I took my 13 year old to see this as she is a big fan of the film and we have watched it several times. Marisha Wallace who played Effie White at our performance was Absolutely Amazing. She drew us into every song that she sang with "And I'm telling you" being out if this world. It was such powerful performance she must have been knackered at the end of it but it was outstanding. "Jimmy" was hilarious...don't procrastinate Dreamgirls is well worth the money and a fantastic day out.

I was initially disappointed as the female understudy was playing the lead however she was fantastic . The drama and powerful delivery of the classic songs make this a must see show. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was expecting an encore which we didn't get !

Attended the Savoy Theatre on the 12th July to watch The Dream girls. All I can say it was absolutely fantastic. All the cast were great but my overall favourite was Amber Riley. She reduced me to tears especially when she was singing I Am telling you OMG. She received a standing ovation. I had a good seat in the dress circle which in my opinion is the best seating in the theatre as you can see the whole stage production and as each row has two steps up no one can block your view. I didn't want the show to end. Would love to see it again before it ends. Thoroughly recommend.

I booked these tickets last minute on the day of the performance for my mum and partner. We loved it! Karen Mav and the cast were fantastic! I have always loved the Dreamgirls movie but having it performed live on stage in front of us was something truly fantastic and the raw talent of these actors brought tears to my eyes. The music was great, the singing breathtaking, stage and set up awesome! It's a long film and a long play but you are captivated and time flies. I could come back and watch this musical again and again! What a great cast! Bravo!
