Olivier Awards tickets go on sale to public for first time
Tuesday, 1 March 2011
Tickets to the annual Laurence Olivier Awards have gone on sale to the general public for the first time today (March 1st 2011).
According to Official London Theatre, attending the ceremony at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on March 13th will cost between £25 and £65, with a maximum of four tickets available per booking.
Hundreds of people will get the chance to watch some of London theatre's most famous faces walk down the red carpet, as well as receiving complimentary champagne in the lobby of the famous venue.
However, anyone who cannot attend does not need to feel too downhearted, as the Oliviers will be covered by the BBC Red Button and BBC Radio 2.
Last month, it was announced that Lost star Matthew Fox is to co-present the ceremony with Olivia Williams and Alfie Boe.
He will soon take to the stage himself in the new play In A Forest Dark And Deep.
