In a Forest%2c Dark and Deep actor explains inspiration

Monday, 28 February 2011

Matthew Fox has revealed he looked to his own experience of sibling rivalry for inspiration for his part in West End production In a Forest, Dark and Deep.

In an interview on This Morning, the Lost star explained that he loves his brothers - Francis Jr and Bayard - but they certainly had competitive moments while growing up.

"Every time we get together there are things that come up, we know how to get under each other's skin," Music Rooms reported Fox as saying.

In a Forest, Dark and Deep is playing at the Vaudeville Theatre in London and sees Fox share the stage with British actress Olivia Williams.

The pair play brother and sister and Fox revealed that he "looked into" the emotions he felt for his siblings during his preparation for the role.

Fox is likely to be familiar to many television and cinema enthusiasts thanks to lead parts in Party of Five, Vantage Point and celebrated sci-fi hit Lost.ADNFCR-3104-ID-800433014-ADNFCR
