In A Forest%2c Dark and Deep star 'agrees with criticism of U2'

Matthew Fox has revealed that he agrees with the criticism his character from In A Forest, Dark and Deep lays on rock group U2 during the play.
The Lost actor is starring in the production at the Vaudeville Theatre London opposite Olivia Williams and he recently told the Daily Mail the Irish band should just stick to being rock stars rather than trying to save the world.
"I get to say some outrageous stuff about U2 in this play. My character used to like U2. Now he thinks they're rubbish and I think he's right," he was quoted as saying.
Fox - who is making his UK stage debut - and Williams play siblings in the new theatre production, which veers between dark comedy and psychological drama.
In addition to his part as Dr Jack Shephard in Lost, the 44-year-old may be familiar to television fans thanks to his role in 1990s drama Party of Five.
