London theatre tickets news Four star review given for Shoes

Those considering buying London theatre tickets for Shoes may be further encouraged by the fact that the show has been given a four-star review.
Michael Coveney of WhatsonStage.com said the musical is edifying and enjoyable, as well as better than many romantic comedies he has seen.
"It has cheek, it has vision, it has witty and satirical intent and it has brand names and glitter and spandex," enthused the critic.
He went on to praise clever songs like Time Wounds All Heels and the cast, who he said guide Shoes through a "hothouse of foot and flip-flop fantasia" via excellent set pieces.
Giving the musical four stars, Mr Coveney called it funny, fresh and inventive and urged anyone who gets the opportunity to go and see it to do so.
A celebration of footwear through the ages, Shoes opened at the Peacock Theatre on February 15th and is currently booking until April 3rd 2011.
