Denise Van Outen Working in shows like Legally Blonde makes me a better mum

Denise Van Outen has claimed that working on shows like Legally Blonde have helped her to be a better mother.
The West End star and former presenter of the Big Breakfast explained to the Express that she always planned to be a working mum and finds her life is brilliant, despite being hectic.
Van Outen currently performs in the role of Paulette in the show at the Savoy Theatre seven times week, but said that she feels that her work is a positive influence on bringing up her daughter Betsy.
"Working makes me a better mum: the reason being I'm happy and fulfilled," the wife of fellow performer Lee Mead explained.
She added that she felt it was important not to lose her independence when she became a mum, as some of her friends had given up work for their children and gone on to regret it.
Taking on the role of the manicurist in Legally Blonde had been an ambition for Van Outen, who told Broadway.com last year that she had wanted the part since seeing it on its London press night.
