London theatre tickets news Shoes opens tomorrow
Monday, 14 February 2011
People hoping to get London theatre tickets for Shoes have been reminded that the musical opens tomorrow (February 15th 2011) at the Peacock Theatre.
It has been created by Richard Thomas and Stephen Mears and aims to take audiences on a journey through the history of footwear, encompassing everything from the platform to the Croc.
Currently booking until April 3rd 2011, it may appeal to fans of Sex and the City, as the show is featured within the story.
Last month, choreographer and director Mr Mears told WhatsonStage.com that he implemented some tweaks on Shoes in order to perfect it for its West End debut.
He explained that a couple of numbers from the original were cut out and then some new songs slotted in to make the production "slicker and tidier".
Tim Howard, Damian Humbley, Gemma Duffy and Jennifer Peers are among the cast theatregoers will see if they buy tickets for Shoes.
