London theatre tickets 'are what your Valentine really wants'
Friday, 11 February 2011
Instead of going out today and getting heart-shaped boxes of chocolates and teddies for Valentine's Day, one website has recommended buying London theatre tickets instead.
Gift or Present said loved ones are sure to enjoy "an unforgettable night out at one of London's top West End shows", with plenty to choose from for both men and women.
It particularly recommended The Lion King, which it said "miraculously" brings to life the story from the original Disney film using puppets, masks and striking costumes.
However, Ghost Stories was also suggested as a possible option, perhaps because it will allow loved-up couples to huddle together when they are scared by the action on stage.
It is not the first time that the latter has been recommended to people wanting to treat their partner with London theatre tickets.
Last month, Oli Archibald from Your Tango also highlighted it as a good option, alongside Jersey Boys.
