Grease turns into real life love story for Ray Quinn
Monday, 7 February 2011
Ray Quinn has revealed that he and his girlfriend of three years Emma Stephens are engaged.
The couple met when they were appearing as Sandy and Danny in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre and Quinn was instantly attracted to his co-star, he told Hello! magazine.
Just like Danny in the musical, he decided to put on a laid-back persona in the hope that Stephens would think he was cool.
Fortunately, the idea worked better for Quinn than it did for T-Birds leader Danny and they began dating.
Now, Quinn - who is currently in Dirty Dancing - has said that they got engaged on Christmas Day after he decided Stephens was the only girl for him.
"I never thought a girl like her would be interested in a guy like me. I feel fate brought us together. I will look after and love Emma forever," he commented.
Grease will close its curtains for the final time on April 30th 2011.
