War Horse and Stomp among best West End shows for Valentine's Day
Wednesday, 19 January 2011
Theatregoers wondering where to take their beloved partners on Valentine's Day have been encouraged to take them to see a production of War Horse or Stomp.
According to online resource Your Tango, a trip to the New London Theatre to enjoy War Horse will ensure that the day is memorable for them.
"A West End phenomenon, War Horse has revolutionised traditional theatre with the use of spectacular puppetry that has amazed theatregoers from all around the world," it observed.
If people fancy something with a little less drama and a bit more excitement, they could head down to the Ambassadors Theatre for Stomp.
The show uses normal household objects to create a stunning display of percussion-based music and dance, with Your Tango describing the production as "highly entertaining".
For the old romantics, an adaptation of the novel and 1970 film Love Story at the Duchess Theatre could be more appropriate, as it is often cited among the most popular romances of all time.
