Teenager goes back to reality after West End debut in Oliver!
Thursday, 13 January 2011
A teenager has returned to his previous life after spending a year starring in the West End musical Oliver! as the Artful Dodger.
The show came to an end last week and Jacques Miche told the Bath Chronicle he had great fun.
He commented: "The best thing about being in the musical was meeting lots of new people. I have made lots of new friends."
The year ten pupil at Beechen Cliff School will now return to his studies full-time, with a view to perhaps appearing in more shows when he has finished his GCSEs.
He had the chance to appear alongside famous faces such as Jodie Prenger, Omid Djalili and Griff Rhys-Jones during his stint in Oliver!.
The Theatre Royal Drury Lane will now become the venue for Shrek the Musical, which is set to open its curtains for the first time on May 6th 2011 and stars Nigel Lindsay and Amanda Holden.
