Judy Craymer keeps mum about Spice Girls musical
Tuesday, 4 January 2011
Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer is keeping quiet about the forthcoming Spice Girls musical that should hit London next year.
According to Broadway World, she appeared on a radio show with Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, but was reluctant to reveal any details about the show, to be called Viva Forever after one of the group's hits.
However, she did say that she was always a great admirer of Scary, Baby, Ginger, Posh and Sporty and that the show will be going into production soon.
"Everyone can identify with the Spice Girls. I want to be a different Spice Girl every day of the week," Craymer added.
The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye revealed in September 2010 that Viva Forever will be a contemporary tale about a group of young women, which primarily focuses on one girl and her mum.
It will be co-written by Saunders, who said she is thrilled to have been given the opportunity.
