Avenue Q stars move to take on Ordinary Days

Friday, 31 December 2010

Two of the stars of the hit West End musical Avenue Q are to take on a new show in London next year.

Daniel Boys and Julie Atherton are to appear in Ordinary Boys at Trafalgar Studios 2 from February 9th to March 5th 2011, theatre fans may be interested to hear.

Atherton, who originated the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q, will play college student Deb, Playbill.com reports.

Deb loses the notes to her graduate thesis, resulting in the lives of four New Yorkers being dramatically altered.

Ordinary Days is written by Adam Gwon and is billed as "an original musical about growing up and enjoying the view".

Boys shot to fame as a contestant on BBC One's Any Dream Will Do before going on to star in Avenue Q and Wolfboy.

He is also to launch the Get Into London Theatre initiative in January 2011.
