Casting announced for West End musical Shoes

In good news for people who love footwear, the casting has been announced for the forthcoming musical Shoes.
The show will be arriving at the Peacock Theatre on February 8th 201,1 where it will stay until April 3rd following recent success at Sadler's Wells this year.
Among the performers will include Tim Howar, Damian Humbley, Gemma Duffy and Jennifer Peers, as well as a host of other dancers.
Director Stephen Mear said: "The auditions for the West End opening of Shoes were extremely competitive and I was delighted to be able to choose from a very strong selection of performers."
Shoes is a song and dance revue that examines the styles of footwear that have captured the hearts of women over the years and was first revealed to London theatre fans in February 2010.
Anyone who goes to see it can expect to see fun poked at Carrie Bradshaw in the song Vex In The City, as well as at well-known shoe devotee Imelda Marcos in Imelda Marcos Argues With The Nation.
