Edinburgh wannabes hope to soon be selling Thriller Live London theatre tickets
Wednesday, 8 December 2010
Two performers hope people will soon be buying London theatre tickets to see them in Thriller - Live after successful auditions in Edinburgh.
Scores of adults battled their way through the snow to the city's Playhouse, where they sang Michael Jackson songs in front of a panel in the hope of making it through to the next stage of the audition process in London.
West End casting director Debbie O'Brien told the Scotsman: "We had a number of really good auditions but two stood out and they will be coming to London for the next round."
The lucky two were revealed to be Alex Devine from Newquay and Alexander Robertson from Peterhead, with the latter wowing the judges with performances of Dirty Diana and Beat It.
Last month, it was announced that the booking period for Thriller - Live has now been extended to June 5th 2011 following continued demand for tickets.
