Geri Halliwell to take inspiration from Jersey Boys?
Wednesday, 1 December 2010
It has been suggested that Geri Halliwell could be taking inspiration from Jersey Boys in a bid to relaunch her music career.
The Spice Girl is reportedly keen to get back to the music industry, but doesn't have a record deal, according to the Sun.
However, she is not letting this stop her and instead intends to fund a comeback herself.
"She wants to release a solo album next summer. Her masterplan is to start off with a cover reworked as a huge dance track," a source told the newspaper.
It has also been rumoured that Halliwell could be working with another girl group in order to sign acts on to her own label.
The Daily Mail spotted her this week heading to a performance of Jersey Boys with her partner and family, so it was suggested that her return to pop could involve a track from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Meanwhile, work is still ongoing on a Spice Girls musical that should hit the West End soon.
