Nick Jonas Joining London's Les Miserables was really nerve wracking
Friday, 26 November 2010
Nick Jonas has revealed that he was quite nervous about taking on a role in Les Miserables in London.
He took to the stage of the Queen's Theatre to play Marius back in June 2010, as well as performing at the O2 as part of its 25th birthday celebrations.
Despite his experience as a pop star and one-third of the Jonas Brothers, the singer told the Daily Mail he knew treading the boards in the long-running musical would be very different.
"For me the nerve-wracking part was really trying to get back in the theatre mindset," Jonas admitted.
However, he said the audiences he encountered were very "well-behaved" and added that it was "an honour" to have been part of Les Miserables in such an important year.
In the summer, the star's brothers Kevin, Joe and Frankie headed to London to see Nick in Les Mis, along with his parents Denise and Paul.
