Natasha Hamilton to join Blood Brothers

It has been revealed that former Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton is to join the West End musical Blood Brothers early next year.
The singer - who was part of the band that topped that charts with Whole Again - will make her stage debut from January 24th 2011 onwards, playing Mrs Johnstone at the Phoenix Theatre.
She is to join current cast members including Stephen Palfreman, Simon Willmont, Vivienne Carlyle and Christopher Dickins in the moving musical, which tells the story of twin boys separated at birth.
However, Hamilton is not the first celebrity to take on the role of the boys' mother, as former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm also enjoyed a stint in the West End playing the same character.
Chisholm recently told WhatsonStage.com she loved it and took away nothing but happy memories from her time in the production, which has been showing for more than 20 years.
