Jones and Prenger to return to Oliver! before it closes

It has been revealed that both Griff Rhys Jones and Jodie Prenger are to return to Oliver! before it closes its curtains for the last time in January 2011.
Jones will replace Russ Abbot as Fagin from December 6th 2010 until January 8th 2011 after first appearing in the musical for six months from December 2009 onwards, Official London Theatre reports.
Meanwhile, Prenger will return to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane for one night only on November 13th 2010 to allow current Nancy Kerry Ellis to perform in the Festival Of Remembrance concert.
The actress was the first to star as Nancy in Oliver! when the show was revived in January 2009, having been chosen through a TV talent search.
She played the character until March this year when she left to appear in Spamalot.
Oliver! will be succeeded by Shrek the Musical, which opens at the same venue in March 2011.
