Just a week left to get London theatre tickets for Avenue Q
Tuesday, 19 October 2010
Anyone hoping to go and see Avenue Q had better get a move on if they want to get their hands on London theatre tickets in time.
The musical closes its curtains at the Wyndham's Theatre for the final time on October 30th 2010, so there is only just over a week left to catch it in the West End.
Avenue Q has been widely described as a naughty version of Sesame Street and with songs including Everyone's A Little Bit Racist, The Internet's For Porn and It Sucks to Be Me, it's easy to see why.
However, it has received critical acclaim for its risque humour and has become a firm favourite in London's theatreland over the past few years.
Leona Lewis was among the famous faces spotted watching Avenue Q recently, even going backstage to pose for photos with the puppets including Trekkie Monster.
It will be succeeded by Five Guys Named Moe at the same venue when it closes next week.
