Amanda Holden gets ready for Shrek by posting Twitter pics

Amanda Holden seems to be excited about her forthcoming role in Shrek the Musical, if her recent Twitter postings are anything to go by.
The 39-year-old took to the microblogging site to post pictures of herself as Princess Fiona, the character she will be portraying on the stage of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the Daily Mail reports.
However, she had not had her full green makeup applied just yet - instead, her transformation into the green girl ogre was completed thanks to computer trickery.
Shrek will open for previews in the West End next year, with Oliver! closing to make room for it.
The show is to feature a number of different scenes and extra songs to the film version that Shrek fans will know and love.
Last month, Holden said in her Fabulous magazine column that she was a "bag of nerves" ahead of her first singing lesson for Shrek, but added that she thought it went well.
