Bill Bailey to make West End return this winter
Wednesday, 22 September 2010
It has been revealed that top comedian Bill Bailey is to make a return to London's West End later this year.
The showman will bring his new stand-up routine entitled Dandelion Mind to the Wyndham's Theatre between November 2nd and December 7th 2010, creating the perfect pre-Christmas treat for his fans.
It is the first time he has trod the boards of theatreland since 2008-09, when he presented Tinselworm at the Gielgud Theatre.
His new show promises to be as funny and sharp as ever, with everything from the Icelandic volcano eruption and creationism to rants about celebrity coming under scrutiny.
Meanwhile, his penchant for music will be satisfied by a version of Cars by Gary Numan in a French disco style.
Bailey will succeed the long-running musical Avenue Q at the Wyndham's, which closes on October 30th 2010.
Leona Lewis was one famous face who recently took in Avenue Q ahead of its imminent departure.
