Sheridan Smith of Legally Blonde is reunited with lost pet
Wednesday, 8 September 2010
Sheridan Smith, current star of musical Legally Blonde, has revealed she has been "crying with joy" after being reunited with her lost dog Enid.
The performer took to her Twitter page on Monday (September 6th 2010) to ask for information about the Shar Pei, but despite the message being reposted by thousands of people, she had no luck.
However, it has now been revealed that Enid is back at home after being found in Dagenham and taken to Battersea Dogs Home.
Luckily, staff there had seen the Twitter postings and heard Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles talking about Smith's plight, so realised whose dog they had found.
"I've got Enid back. I cannot thank you all enough for your help … I am so touched by the support and kindness of everyone," Smith said.
The news is sure to delight fans of Legally Blonde, who have warmly welcomed Smith in the role of Elle Woods due to her likeable, self-deprecating nature.
She once told the London Evening Standard she feels so lucky to have the role she feel like she is "blagging".
