Legally Blonde star Smith 'distraught' over lost pet
Tuesday, 7 September 2010
Sheridan Smith, the star of West End show Legally Blonde, has said she is distraught after her beloved pet went missing.
The actress - who is a well-known dog lover and has previously spoken about how much she likes working alongside the Chihuahuas in the musical - revealed Enid the Shar Pei was lost last night (September 6th 2010) on her Twitter page.
She urged anyone who may have seen the dog in Crouch End to get in touch with her, but there had been no sightings as of this morning.
However, Smith thanked her followers for their kind messages, saying she is "so touched".
"Miss her so much, I hope she's safe," the performer added.
It was revealed last month that Smith is to stay on in Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre until at least January 9th 2011, instead of October 2010.
Denise Van Outen will also be joining the musical soon.
