Brochure details disabled information for those with London theatre tickets
Friday, 3 September 2010
Anyone with a disability who has booked London theatre tickets for a show - or who is thinking of booking them - may be interested in a new brochure.
The Access London Theatre publication is available now and covers performances between this month and December 2010.
Not only does it contain information about various plays and musicals, but it also provides details about sign language facilities, locations of disabled toilets and the number of steps required to enter and exit the venues.
Official London Theatre calls it "an invaluable source for any theatregoers who find it difficult to see or hear what is happening onstage".
Anyone hoping to get hold of one of the brochures should visit the Society of London Theatre website either before or after they book tickets.
Disabled people visiting London's West End may also be interested in Mouseability.co.uk, which identifies businesses and organisations that positively welcome them.
