Getting London theatre tickets 'is easy and rewarding'

Getting hold of London theatre tickets to see a top show is both easy and rewarding, a newspaper has said.
The Shropshire Star pointed out that although it may be expensive to book places on the day, buying tickets online beforehand can save money and time.
It recommended Avenue Q, We Will Rock You and Dirty Dancing as good classic musicals to see, but pointed out that it is worth keeping an eye on the news to see if celebrities will be making a West End appearance.
"It is very easy to plan an affordable and enjoyable trip to London," the article concluded.
Earlier this month, the Independent cited a Society of London Theatre poll which revealed that 68 per cent of those heading to the West End in 2008 were female.
This could suggest women are seeing plays and musicals as part of girls' nights out instead of going to bars and clubs.
