London theatre tickets to be available for Stomp for longer
Wednesday, 25 August 2010
Anyone who wants London theatre tickets for Stomp may be pleased to know they will now be available for longer.
The show at the Ambassadors Theatre has added a further six months to its booking schedule, meaning it will now be showing until at least April 10th 2011, according to WhatsonStage.com.
Stomp began in Brighton in 1991 as the brainchild of Steve McNicholas and Luke Creswell. It transferred to the Vaudeville Theatre in 2002 before moving to its current home in 2007.
The show sees performers use props including Zippo lighters, bananas and brooms to create innovative percussion, movement and visual comedy routines that have proved a hit with audiences and critics alike.
New music and dances were added to Stomp last year in order to keep it fresh for people who wanted to revisit it in the West End.
In January 2010, Rachel Devine of the Times said Stomp is still as enthralling and dramatic as it was when it first opened.
