Buy London theatre tickets to The 39 Steps and enjoy a vintage tea party
Tuesday, 17 August 2010
Anyone with London theatre tickets for The 39 Steps on September 9th 2010 may be pleased to know they will be able to take part in a vintage tea party.
The play celebrates its fourth birthday at the Criterion Theatre next month and the organisers have arranged a retro celebration, complete with cream cakes, fancy dress and tea-based cocktails.
Guests are invited to go along in costumes befitting the comical spy thriller, while the venue's Greene Bar will provide refreshments and ongoing entertainment after the play, Broadway World reports.
The 39 Steps is now the longest-running production in the Criterion Theatre's history and has now played in 28 cities worldwide.
It stars Dianne Pilkington, David Bark-Jones, Timothy Speyer and Jeremy Swift and could appeal to fans of The Mousetrap.
Meanwhile, it was announced earlier this month that London theatre tickets will now be available for eight further months on top of the original booking period, taking it up to October 22nd 2011.
