Ghost Stories scares another victim

Friday, 6 August 2010

It would seem that West End play Ghost Stories deserves its reputation as one of the scariest shows in theatreland after it frightened another victim this week.

Clemmie Moodie and Danielle Lawler - aka the Mirror's 3AM Girls - said they spotted Marc Almond of 1980s band Soft Cell watching the play at the Duke of York's Theatre.

However, he happened to be "jumping out of his seat in shock" at the time, they reported.

This is not the first time a celebrity has been rendered a nervous wreck by Ghost Stories.

Last month, Harry Judd of McFly told the Daily Star his bandmate Dougie Poynter had been so scared of the show, he spent the whole performance looking at the floor.

Jonathan Ross has also bought London theatre tickets to see Ghost Stories, according to the Daily Express.

However, he must not have been so afraid, as he returned to the theatre to see it a second time.
