Burn the Floor 'makes it impossible to sit still'
Thursday, 29 July 2010
Burn the Floor has been recommended to London theatre fans as a result of its stunning dance moves.
Writing for the Stage, critic Sarah Wilkinson said the dancers - including Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna - possess "stunning techniques" and project real passion via their moves.
She said their footwork in the show, which opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre on Monday (July 26th 2010), is compelling to watch.
"Their enthusiasm for the choreography is infectious, their love of dance insatiable. Several numbers move beyond toe-tapping, making it near impossible to sit still," Ms Wilkinson added.
She recommended that anyone who likes dance should get London theatre tickets to see it, as the performances are first-rate throughout.
Burn the Floor certainly impressed choreographer Louie Spence this week, who took to his Twitter page after attending the first showing to write: "God it's on fire. It's so HOT!"
The dance spectacular is currently booking until September 4th 2010.
