A talented young performer is celebrating being given a second chance after securing a role in Billy Elliot.
Aaron Bryan, now 12, won a scholarship in 2007 which saw him attend a private training school for aspiring Billy Elliot actors, the Sentinel reports.
However, he felt unable to cope with being away from home at such a young age and was forced to give up his place and return home.
Aaron said he later regretted the decision and feared he may never achieve his dream of appearing in a musical.
Now though, the youngster has been given a second chance after beating 150 other hopefuls to become Billy again.
"I see a lot of myself in the Billy Elliot character and just can't wait to begin the shows," Aaron commented.
Billy Elliot is consistently one of the West End's favourite shows and is currently showing at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
