The new star of Billy Elliot has revealed that he will give his first wage packet from the musical to charity.
Aaron Watson, 12, joined the cast of the hit West End show on June 10th 2010 after being selected for the lead role in September 2009.
However, instead of splurging his first pay cheque, the kind-hearted youngster is to donate it to Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he underwent treatment for a hole in his heart as a baby.
"I thought because of how much they've done for me I would give them some money. I am going to give it very shortly," Aaron commented.
He added that he is now thoroughly enjoying his role in Billy Elliot after initial nerves and hopes to continue in the musical for another 18 months.
However, this will depend on how much he grows and whether his voice breaks in the meantime.
Billy Elliot is currently booking until April 9th 2011 after first opening in the West End in April 2005.
