Plaque to be unveiled ahead of anniversary Thriller - Live performance
A tribute to Michael Jackson is to take place this week to mark the first anniversary of his death.

A plaque commemorating the life of Michael Jackson is to be unveiled this week at the Lyric Theatre ahead of a special performance of Thriller - Live.
It will be a year since the singer passed away on Friday (June 25th 2010), so those behind the show want to do something special to remember the pleasure he gave to his fans, the BBC reports.
As a result, the memorial will be revealed in the evening before the performers in Thriller - Live go on stage to sing in a tribute service.
The cast will perform Speechless, a song recorded by Jackson which is to be released later this month to raise money for War Child, one of his favourite charities.
Thriller - Live executive producer Adrian Grant said the sentiment in the song "truly reflects the emotions one feels due to his loss - those of sadness, but also remembering the joy he gave the world as we celebrate his life".
In the weeks following Jackson's death, the Lyric Theatre was transformed into a shrine to the King of Pop, with theatregoers signing a book of condolences that was eventually passed to his family.
