Mamma Mia! team to work on Spice Girls musical
A musical based on the songs of the Spice Girls is to be staged in a London theatre.

The team behind hit West End musical Mamma Mia! are to work their magic on another London theatre show.
Mel B revealed this week that the Spice Girls are currently in talks with Judy Craymer about staging a musical based on their hits.
She said the show is currently in its early stages but confirmed that it would definitely happen.
"It's the early creative parts of it, so we're just sitting down with her telling each of our individual stories, which are different but kind of the same," the singer commented.
Mel added that she is very excited that the project is getting off the ground, as she believes it should have happened a long time ago.
The Spice Girls will be hoping to achieve success similar to that enjoyed by Mamma Mia!, which worked Abba songs such as The Winner Takes It All and SOS into a romantic comedy.
