Anyone who hopes to watch Hair at the Gielgud Theatre has been informed that they will have until September in which to do so.
Producers for the hippy-themed musical have posted closing notices which will see the curtain come down for the last time on September 4th 2010.
There was speculation that Hair would continue after this date with a British cast instead of the current all-American company, but prior scheduling agreements have meant this is not possible.
Hair is set during the 1960s and tells the story of a group of friends living a bohemian lifestyle in New York.
It also addresses issues such as the Vietnam War against a soundtrack of songs such as Aquarius and I've Got Life.
The musical has been receiving good reviews since it opened in the West End earlier in 2010, with the Telegraph's Charles Spencer saying it delighted him as a former hippy.
