Cannibal! The Musical cancelled in West End
A proposed West End show will now not be coming to London.
Thursday, 13 May 2010

Anyone who had been thinking of buying theatre tickets for Cannibal! The Musical may be disappointed to know that its run in the West End has been cancelled until further notice.

The show, which was created by the people behind South Park, was set to run at the Leicester Square Theatre from July 27th to September 11th 2010.

However, it has now been announced that this stint will not go ahead, as the producers are currently re-tweaking the show in Canada before bringing it to audiences in London.

Frazer Brown, who was organising the musical in London, said he is "deeply saddened" by the news.

People who are interested in quirky shows could go to see Avenue Q instead.

This also has a naughty sense of humour and is now showing at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End.

It features puppets in all the lead roles and has been described as an adult version of Sesame Street.
