A schoolboy has said he is "really excited" to be appearing as Billy Elliot in the hit Victoria Palace Theatre show soon.
Aaron Watson, 12, told the Lynn News he "can't wait" to tread the boards in the critically-acclaimed musical.
He first auditioned for the role in 2007 and has since undergone a gruelling training regime to be ready for his May 31st 2010 debut.
Since October 2009, he has been living with a group of other performers from the show, splitting his day between schooling and sessions at a dance studio.
Aaron, who will be the 23rd Billy Elliot to appear in the West End, will rotate the role with other young actors.
Dad Nick told the news provider he doubts his son will be nervous before his first big performance.
"He is absolutely loving it. It doesn't seem like hard work to him," he remarked.
Aaron will not be the only actor making their debut on May 31st 2010 - the night will also see former Neighbours star Genevieve Lemon take the role of dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson.
