Hair 'is a buoyant revival'
A theatre critic has praised the new revival of Hair at the Gielgud Theatre.

Hair has been praised for its energy and nostalgic atmosphere by one critic.
Writing for the Independent, Kate Bassett said producer Cameron Mackintosh has scored a hit with the show, which is set in the 1960s and features a group of hippy friends in New York.
She said the scene at the end when audience members are invited up onto the stage of the Gielgud Theatre is "lovely" and reported seeing an elderly lady high-kicking as she herself climbed down.
However, the critic also pointed out that Hair is not simply a cheery musical, but also movingly highlights the problems behind the idealistic nature of free love, as well as the futility of war.
Ms Bassett concluded by saying that Hair is "a buoyant revival" and recommending it to London theatre fans.
This comes after the musical received a five-star review from the Telegraph's Charles Spencer just a day after it opened in the West End.
