His team may have secured a place in the FA Cup semi-final over the weekend, but John Terry decided to opt out of the celebrations in favour of a night out at the theatre.
The Chelsea captain took his wife Toni to see the critically-acclaimed musical Thriller - Live and seemed to have a great time, the Sun reports.
And he took advantage of the romantic Michael Jackson hit I'll Be There to give his partner a cuddle in the darkness of the Lyric Theatre, another member of the audience said.
Thriller - Live has been lauded by critics and audiences alike after it first opened in the West End last year.
In February 2010, six new songs and a different opening were added to the musical in order to freshen it up for its first birthday.
Jersey Boys is another musical that is popular with celebrities. The Beckham family enjoyed it last Christmas, while Ant ad Dec took their respective girlfriends along to see it this Valentine's Day.
