Anyone buying theatre tickets for The Lion King may be pleased to know that its booking period has now been extended again.
Four months have now been added to the original schedule, meaning that the hit musical will now run until January 31st 2011, WhatsonStage.com reports.
In December 2009, The Lion King became the West End's ninth longest running show, with producers revealing that more than eight million people have now seen it in London.
The musical features 15 songs, five of which come from the Disney film and several new ones having been written by Tim Rice and Elton John.
It tells the story of lion cub Simba, who is set to rule Pride Rock as the son of King Mufasa. However, he runs away after being led to believe that he is responsible for his father's death.
When he returns to claim what is rightfully his, he finds that his evil uncle Scar has other ideas.
